recently finished:
I’m challenging myself to read 29 books in 29 days this month, and so far, I’ve been doing pretty well! While I didn’t finish a book on the 4th (yesterday) because I had a ton of grad school work and went on a date with my spouse, I did make some good progress in my current reads so hopefully I’ll finish 2 books while I’m off tomorrow and make up the slack. ?

After a couple of weeks in a row of only hauling 1 ARC per week, this week is a bit of a jump. ? To be fair, I didn’t request Final Cuts or The Extraordinaries, they both just showed up as surprises (and very pleasant ones, at that, because I am SO freaking excited for both of them!). Out of the ones I did request, I’ve already read one, and another looks like a really quick read, so I’m not feeling too bad about the number this week.

? Three Days Grace — ‘One-X’ album (Throwback time! I might have listened to this album on repeat all day yesterday and relived my angsty preteen days.)

? After having just gotten my Switch, finally… I’m returning it because they announced the limited edition Animal Crossing console and I needed it instead. ?? So, that’s been pre-ordered, and the cost is that I’m not in the mood to play ANYTHING right now because all I want is my Switch and to spend time with my favorite little animal villagers.

Not a bad week here! It was pretty laid-back, just loads of assignments for grad school. I still can’t believe this is my final semester.

NEW SECTION! I thought it’d be fun to start setting myself a couple of weekly goals in these posts. This week, I’d like to…
- Write reviews for at least 20 of the books on my “RTC” (review to come) shelf on goodreads
- Re-do all of my booktube thumbnails with a new thumbnail style
