The Weekly Wrap is a post every week where we’ll talk about current reads, recently finished reads, what I’m listening to, games I’m playing, movies I’m watching, and general life stuff. ♥ If you’re a fan of my past WWW Wednesday & The Sunday Post updates, you’ll love this combination of the two!

✅ recently finished:
- The Bromance Book Club ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was so cute and sweet. - Dead as a Doornail ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Returning to this series was EXACTLY what I needed. - Guarding Temptation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
PLEASE GO BUY THIS AND READ IT ASAP. Omg. So fluffy and soft and cute and PERFECT escapism. I already want to reread it. ??
⏰ up next:
I have NO reading goals this week besides reading things that make me happy. ♥
? new review arrivals:
… sigh. One of the symptoms of my mental illness is to seek out retail therapy when I’m stressed, and when I can’t go shopping, I have a history of turning to NetGalley and Edelweiss to replace that feeling. That’s the only explanation I have for what happened this week.
- Horrid
*screams into pillow* - Camp
- Would I Lie to the Duke
I didn’t love book 1 in the series but book 2 honestly sounds way better - Loathe at First Sight
- Written in the Stars
GIMME ALL THE QUEER GIRL ROMANCE PLEASE ?
- Junk Boy
Such a sucker for novels in verse - You Say it First
- The Left-Handed Booksellers of London
*more pillow screaming* - Among the Beasts and Briars
- Star Daughter
- My Highland Rogue
- When We Were Infinite
- The Scapegracers
- The Lost City & The Morning Flower
Wednesday Books asked if I’d like to review the first 2 books in this series, and I saw the cute plus-size girl on the cover of a fantasy book WHICH NEVER FUCKING HAPPENS?!?!, so of course I said yes
- The Monster Baru Cormorant & The Tyrant Baru Cormorant
Another series I was asked to review~ I already had the hardcover of book 1. - The Perfect Assassion, The Impossible Contract, & The Unconquered City
Another series review request. I hear this has great QPOC rep!
- Guarding Temptation
THIS WAS SO GOOD OMG - Nobody Knows but You
- Miss Meteor
Again, all the gay girls pls - You Know I’m No Good
- The Silvered Serpents
- The Blade Between
- Boyfriend Material
- The Tourist Attraction
- Beauty Tempts the Beast
- The Princess Will Save You
- The Boyfriend Project
- The Year of the Witching
- This is Not a Ghost Story
- The Invention of Sound
- Let’s Bake!: A Pusheen Cookbook
- All Boys Aren’t Blue
(Audiobook from LibroFM) - The Happy Ever After Playlist
(Audiobook from LibroFM) - The List of Things That Will Not Change
(Audiobook from LibroFM) I had to pick this up after hearing Chelsea rave about it ♥ - The Devil’s List
???? non-bookish occupations:
More ACNH, forever. |
I started playing World of Final Fantasy this week and I AM OBSESSED. My son has started hogging the Switch a lot to play Animal Crossing (he’s shockingly good at it for a 3-year-old? wtf), so now I play this on my PC whenever I’m letting him play ACNH. ?♀️ |
life updates:
This was a really, really bad week for my mental health. My anxiety came back in full force and I nearly had a complete nervous breakdown yesterday. Right now, I’m just going to majorly prioritize self-care and try not to think about anything too much.
