It’s time for another WWW Wednesday!
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What I’m currently reading:
Somehow, almost nothing in this list has changed since last week. Sigh, lol.
- the shadow of the gods // john gwynne
- dead silence // s.a. barnes
- vespertine // margaret rogerson
- reception // kenzie jennings
What I recently finished:
That said, I did get a bit of reading done over the past week!
- organizing for the rest of us // dana k. white
Definitely my fave of Dana’s books so far, and one of the first books I’d recommend to anyone new to de-cluttering self-help! - the wall of winnipeg and me // mariana zapata
Apparently 1% or less of the bookish population dislikes this book and I’m in that lucky 1% 😬 - the black flamingo // dean atta
This was absolutely wonderful. ♥
What I’ll read next:
This section is also almost exactly the same as last week’s, because I didn’t get to most of these yet!
- something is killing the children, vol. 3 // james tynion iv
- shades of magic, vol. 1-3 // v.e. schwab
- elle(s), vol. 1 // kid toussaint
- lamella // max halper
- a court of silver flames // sarah j. maas
What are you reading right now, or what did you recently finish? Let me know in the comments!

February 18, 2022I’ve read 3 out of the 4 books you’re currently reading and they were a mix of hits and misses for me. I do hope you enjoy them! And your post reminded me to go check my comics pull list because I’m behind on Something is Killing the Children 🙁
Destiny @ Howling Libraries
February 21, 2022Oooh, which 3 and which ones were hits and misses if you don’t mind me asking? So curious now haha 😀 and thank you!

February 19, 2022So glad that you enjoyed The Black Flamingo, especially as I feel like it doesn’t get as much hype! I read it a while back and really liked it ? Good luck with your reading plans! ❤️
Destiny @ Howling Libraries
February 21, 2022Thank you, Caro! And yes, The Black Flamingo really deserves more hype. I think novels in verse tend to not get enough hype in general, sadly!

February 20, 2022I’m in the same boat with the wall of winnipeg and me. I don’t really get the hype for the authors books.
Destiny @ Howling Libraries
February 21, 2022I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’m sorry they don’t work so well for you either, though.
Kayla @ Books and Blends
February 23, 2022Her books are way too long for me then only a sprinkle of romance.
