Another month has passed, and you know what that means… time for a haul and wrap-up post! I had a pretty decent reading month, and I stuck to my book ban fairly well! Though I did splurge on a few purchases, most of this month’s new additions to my shelves were given to me as ARCs. (Yay!)

As you may have noticed, I read a lot of graphic novels this month! Rather than clutter your emails and WordPress Reader with a ton of separate reviews, I’ll be doing a few multi-mini-review posts during September to cover those. ?
(Also, you may have noticed that I put The Dream Thieves in the photo, but not in the list… That’s because I took the photo a few days ago, and thought for sure I’d have finished the book by the time I posted this. Nahhhh.)
Average rating for the month: 4.0/5
Percentage of August TBR completed: 43% (ouch!)

September 1, 2017Your reading accomplishments continue to inspire and amaze me! I spent a long time last night outlining a thorough schedule for September so hopefully that helps me hit some of these higher reading goals! Also as for your physical ARCs are those won from GR/sent from Netgalley or do you go to the publishers directly? I’d love to learn how to maximize my physical ARCs because I prefer print over my kindle ARCs….that’s not to say that I’m not over the moon about getting digi ARCs too! =D Thanks again for continuing to guide me into this crazy book community!

September 4, 2017Awww, thank you! That’s so nice of you. I hope you have a great reading month ahead of you! Some of mine are from NetGalley and the rest are usually from the publicists themselves. 🙂 I like both, but yeah, the print ARCs are definitely so nice to receive! Just try sending some requests to the publishing emails you find on the publicists’ websites (and sometimes the authors’ sites will give you an email address for their direct contact, too!). Good luck!

September 4, 2017This was a very good month for print ARCs for me! I usually only average a couple per month so August was definitely a surprise and I think I will slow down on requesting and accepting the ones offered to me for the next few months so I can work on my released TBR books, too. 🙂 Thank you!
