This is a weekly tag hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s challenge is Ten Hidden Gem Books in X Genre!
I decided to go with a few under-hyped YA titles for this post. If you see some titles that you don’t think are under-hyped, keep in mind that I’m not basing this off of sales so much as I am basing it off of how often I actually hear other readers and reviewers discussing and recommending these titles! Every title on this list was a 4- or 5-star read for me, and I’ll add links to my reviews of them below the titles.
1. The Only Alien on the Planet – Kristen D. Randle
2. How to Make a Wish – Ashley Herring Blake
3. The Seafarer’s Kiss – Julia Ember
4. Royal Bastards – Andrew Shvarts
5. Daughter of the Burning City – Amanda Foody
6. Now I Rise – Kiersten White
7. Stalking Jack the Ripper – Kerri Maniscalco
8. Tell Me Three Things – Julie Buxbaum
(Sadly, I reviewed this one pre-blog)
9. Aftercare Instructions – Bonnie Pipkin
10. The Wood – Chelsea Bobulksi
What are your top 3 favorite underrated YA titles? Give me some recommendations!
