  4. Siphon ⭐⭐⭐
  5. Beauty in Spring ⭐⭐⭐⭐

up next:

The Graphics Readathon started yesterday, so I’m mainly going to be focusing on graphic novels and manga this week! You can see my readathon TBR here if you’re interested.

new review arrivals:

  • e-arcs:
    • Girl, Unframed
    • I’ll Be the One
  • print arcs:
    • The Return
  • audio arcs:

3 new review copies this week and they’re all books I am SUPER excited about!

what I watched:

? Rabid (2019) — ⭐⭐⭐? (It wasn’t perfect, but I did have a lot of fun with it and really enjoyed the ending!)
? Girl on the Third Floor (2019) — ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (I really loved this, and it was kind of funny because I didn’t know CM Punk was the main character after having just seen him have a cameo in Rabid. The makeup SFX in this were soooo gross and awesome.)
? Countdown (2019) — ⭐⭐⭐? (This was honestly super cheesy at times, but I liked the premise of it.)
? Annabelle Comes Home (2019) — ⭐⭐ (I’m so disappointed to say that I couldn’t even tell you much of what happened in this because I was so bored, I started cleaning and blogging while watching it and missed a fair bit.)

what I’m listening to:

? Flora Cash, still.

what I’m playing:

? Nothing this week but Picross!

life updates:

This was a bit of an up-and-down week; on one hand, I got a lot of things done I’d been wanting to do for a while, and that always makes me feel good! On the other hand, my seasonal depression finally showed up (to think I was beginning to wonder if I could make it through a winter without it? Ha!) so that has had me down a bit lately, though today is a pretty good day so far. I have a lot of videos I’m hoping to film over the next few days plus a lot of blog posts I want to write AND a lot of reading I want to do! I’m still hoping I can hit the 29-book mark by the end of February, so maybe The Graphics Readathon will get me there. Fingers crossed! Maybe I should take a mini-twitter hiatus so I can get some stuff done. ?

goals for the coming week:

Update on last week’s goals:

  1. Write reviews for 20+ RTCs
    1. ❌ Nope… still didn’t happen! Dang it.
  2. Catch up on blog hopping
    1. ❌ Sigh.
  3. Finish one book every day
    1. ✅ YES!

This week’s new goals:

  1. (carrying over) Write reviews for 20+ RTCs
  2. (carrying over) Catch up on blog hopping
  3. Schedule at least 2 weeks of blog posts

    1. Oh my god this is such a great idea, I might try doing something like this! I’m honestly so jealous how much you get done in a week, I clearly need to do better with planning my life out lol. I’m looking forward to your thoughts on The Shadow of What Was Lost and Seven Deadly Shadows!
