WWW Wednesday: July 2, 2025

Hi, everyone! It’s been a VERY busy past two weeks. Like I mentioned in my last post, we were super busy getting ready for Isaac’s birthday party, but there’s been some other stuff, too. The day after my most recent WWW post, my spouse and I were coming home when we got t-boned by a driver running a stop sign. Thank goodness, everyone was fine, but my poor SUV was totaled! 😭 We’ve been dealing with insurance nonsense from that ever since, but we got the settlements taken care of today and are expecting it all to be resolved by the middle of next week or so.

I also started a new job last week! It’s a remote job working in research and I’m enjoying it so far. I was panicking over being laid off back in April/May, so it was a huge relief to start a new full-time position. 💖 Isaac’s birthday also went really well, we went to see Bloodywood in concert (they were phenomenal!), and we have another concert lined up for this coming weekend. Busy, busy! How are you all doing?

I think I’m finally beating my slump! I actually read all of these within the past few days. 😅 Motherlover was definitely my favorite of the batch!

2. What are you currently reading?

I have quite a few overdue buddy reads I need to finish, but I’ve been sucked into rereading lately and I’m not mad about it. Thankfully, my besties are always very understanding when I get sidetracked! 😂 I started a mood reread of Her Soul to Take and Misty and I started a buddy reread of The Ashes & the Star-Cursed King so we can pick up the newest installment in the Nyaxia series next!
